Schools

I love talking to kids about how I became an author, my writing process, and solving crime! My talk is fun and interactive and perfect for groups of any size from 3rd grade to high school. I can also lead writing workshops where I talk about character and plot development, as well as writing without fear.

If you are a teacher or librarian and would like me to come to your school for a visit—virtually or on-site—please visit my presenter page at The Author Village to fill out a request form. All other inquires, including book group Skype visits, please send your request here.

Comments from Educators on my School Visits

“Elizabeth Eulberg’s presentation on reading and writing was humorous, engaging, inspiring.  She touched on the themes of perseverance, stepping outside your comfort zone, and finding your own path.  By sharing her own story, she connected with many students who may not have seen themselves as readers or writers. Our third and fourth grade students were engaged, laughing and learning throughout Elizabeth’s presentation. One student commented that, ‘It was the best presentation we ever had!’”

“Elizabeth engaged the kids and got them writing in the writer’s workshops yesterday and then managed to entertain AND teach about becoming a writer today during her group presentations. From what I saw, she knew how to captivate and inspire the middle schoolers (she made them laugh as a bonus).”
Meg Graves, Co-Chair, Greenhill School Cultural Arts Committee, Addison, TX

“By all accounts, Elizabeth Eulberg has been one of the most popular author visitors Greenhill has had. She knows how to connect with kids, what makes them giggle, and puts a ton of energy into her presentations. I heard great feedback from teachers saying that their students now want to be authors after her visit. We hope she will come back and see us soon!”
Kaitlin Prieur, Greenhill School Cultural Arts Committee, Addison, TX

“It was such a pleasure to host Elizabeth for a Skype virtual author visit. She gave some great insight into her writing process, the inspiration for her series The Great Shelby Holmes, and some wonderful personal connections to Sherlock Holmes, as well! My students are still raving about it and can’t wait to read the next book in the series!”
